Why I Chose Health Care

I was an epidemiologist (medical detective) and traveled all over the world working for the CDC. I missed working with patients and decided to return to clinical practice.

In the Department of Radiation Oncology, Sheila assists physicians in providing care to cancer patients.


Sheila and her husband, Mike, have three kids: Jack, Katie, and Caroline. She likes to read, play tennis, walk, and be outside as much as she can.
