Christie Clinic adds Nurse Practitioner Kelly Guzlas to the Department of Gastroenterology located at 3101 Fields South Drive in Champaign. In the Department of Gastroenterology, our providers diagnose and treat disorders of the stomach, liver, gallbladder and digestive tract.
Kelly Guzlas completed her bachelor’s degree in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner specialty from University of Illinois at Chicago. During her internship rotations in clinical and hospital settings, she practiced sports medicine injections, sutures, irrigation and drainage of wounds, closed reduction and casting of fractures, birth control procedures and pelvic exams. Guzlas mastered various electronic medical record systems and dictations.
She brings experience in rehabilitation aide, emergency room, assisted living, inpatient and outpatient care. Guzlas also volunteers for the Illinois Medical Emergency Response Team.
