Why I Chose Health Care

Health care piqued my interest from a young age since both of my parents worked in the field. Seeing many providers treat their patients in a happy, caring, and informed environment early on encouraged me to pursue a career in medicine. Dermatology is unique in that the skin is visible to everyone and having a dermatological condition can have a profound impact on the way an individual is perceived and potentially treated by others. It has been incredibly rewarding to treat patients and see the direct effects treating their skin has had on their life.
