The team of providers in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology provides care and advice for women from puberty through adulthood. In addition to providing physical examinations, breast examinations, and cervical cancer screenings, our specialists help patients with family planning decisions, birth options and care for them throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and menopause. We also have specially trained and registered diagnostic medical sonographers on staff to perform ultrasound evaluations for infertility assessments, early pregnancy confirmations, or to visualize pelvic structures or developing pregnancies.
Our OB/GYN Team of Providers
Office Based Team
We have providers in clinic during normal business hours seeing patients and addressing any concerns that might arise during a visit or any questions you may have following or in between visits.
Hospital Based Team
We also have a team of providers - referred to as OB Hospitalists - specifically dedicated to those patients in the hospital needing care during labor and delivery or needing gynecology care through the Emergency Department. Christie Clinic OB Hospitalists will be available at Carle Foundation Hospital 24 hours a day.
The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (the national experts in our field of medicine) states that this model (office based and hospital based teams) enhances patient safety and leads to better outcomes for mother and baby.
We want to assure you that whether you need an appointment in our office or need emergent care at the local hospital, our team of physicians and nurse practitioners will be ready to provide the excellent care you expect from Christie Clinic. We will continue to listen and care. As always, we appreciate and value the trust you place in us.
