In the Department of Physical Therapy, Bethany Zich evaluates individuals with conditions that limit their functionality and movement. She determines and implements therapeutic techniques to reduce the risk of injury and promotes fitness, health and wellness.
I first became involved in medicine through working with athletes as an athletic trainer. Becoming a physical therapist allowed me to see different patients and conditions, and I love that every day I get to help people get back to being able to participate in the activities they love.
When I am not at work, I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, kayaking and traveling.

I strive to best serve my patients by allowing them to be in the lead on their road to recovery. I will always teach, demonstrate and encourage my patients in any way I can, and I hope they always feel that I listen to them and care about their goals. I want my patients to feel that we are on the same team, working together to allow them to heal and strengthen.
