In the Department of Pain Management and Rehabilitation, Dr. Santiago evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients who suffer from a variety of chronic and acute painful conditions. He takes a comprehensive approach to pain management, emphasizing conservative non-surgical care and interventional therapies in his treatments. Some of the issues he treats include work- and sports-related injuries; painful muscle, joint, spine, and nerve disorders; and non-injury pain conditions.
I was always interested in human anatomy and the musculoskeletal system. The field of physical medicine and rehabilitation (physiatry) has given me a tremendous ability to apply my knowledge of human anatomy to diagnose and treat various conditions of the musculoskeletal and neurological systems.
In addition to playing with my kids and participating in sports, I enjoy using my background in theater to write and direct short plays in my free time.
