In the Department of Skilled Nursing, Dr. McNeal diagnoses and treats non-surgical illnesses in patients at nursing homes.
I grew up very close to my grandparents. They were extremely active in the American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary, so I spent a good part of my childhood around older adults. I feel it is very important to listen to both the patient and the family. Caring for the elderly often takes additional patience and understanding, because medically, socially, and emotionally, they have different needs.
My husband, a nephrologist, and I have three boys and one girl.

My certifications give me the unique perspective to focus my care on the elderly and their specific medical needs. I am passionate about the care of the elderly, especially those residing in nursing homes. I also have a strong interest in caring for patients who have memory loss and dementia.
