I always knew I wanted to be a part of the medical field. When I was younger, my grandfather was diagnosed with cancer; he became very weak and was referred to physical therapy. I saw how this physical therapist provided my grandfather with compassionate care while helping him return to more normal, everyday function. This appealed to me, and I knew I wanted to do something where I would be able to help people reach a goal and improve their way of life.
My husband Matt and I enjoy spending time together outdoors; camping, hiking, and fishing. I also enjoy watching and playing all sorts of sports, as well as spending time with our large, close-knit family and friends.

I treat my patients with the respect that I would want in return. They come to me with a problem and goals that are unique to only that one patient. I believe each patient is an individual with his/her own story, and each patient should feel they are receiving individualized, compassionate care from a trustworthy and knowledgeable professional that relates to them on many levels. I listen to my patients' concerns so that I can problem solve and work as a team with the patient to help him/her gain full function.
