I knew from when I was a very small child that I wanted to be a nurse. My paternal grandparents had multiple health issues when I was very young, so I was always exposed to the health care field. I wanted to make a difference in the lives of other by being able to provide health care options that would allow them to make the best decisions for their well-being.
I was born and raised in Champaign County and currently live in Royal with my husband Wes, and dog, Spanky. I have one daughter, Holly, and three grandchildren, Kiersten, Jaden, and DeCharion, who are my pride and joy. I love the outdoors, working my flower and vegetable gardens, and canning the results. I also enjoy cooking and entertaining for family and friends.

I strive to best serve my patients by making sure their needs are heard and that we work together to take care of them - not only as a patient, but as an individual. I want my patients to feel open to discuss concerns with me and feel that they have a provider they want to come back to. I am always willing to go the extra mile to get the needs of the patient met.
