Christie Clinic is pleased to announce Barry Jay Riskin, MD, has rejoined the Department of Neurology and is extending their reach at Christie Clinic in Bloomington on Empire St.
Dr. Riskin is experienced in diagnosing and treating disorders of the brain and spinal cord. He specializes in multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, neuropathy and epilepsy. Dr. Riskin is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Illinois’ School of Applied Health Sciences in Kinesiology & Community Health and a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Illinois College of Medicine.
Dr. Riskin attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for his undergraduate degree and earned his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago. He completed his internship at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL and went on to fulfill his residency in neurology at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, followed by completing his fellowship training in Epilepsy/EEG.
