Christie Clinic welcomes Matthew Kamin, DO, FACC, to the Department of Cardiology. Dr. Kamin specializes in general cardiology, with an emphasis in prevention and diagnostic testing. He uses non-invasive procedures like nuclear stress testing, echocardiography, and Holter monitoring, to identify heart problems and detect diseases.
Dr. Kamin completed his undergraduate degree at Benedictine University in Lisle, IL and attended Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL for medical school. His post-graduate education continued with an internship, an internal medicine residency and a cardiology fellowship at Lutheran General Hospital, in Park Ridge, IL. He is certified by the Board of Nuclear Cardiology, National Board of Echocardiography, and American Board of Internal Medicine for Cardiovascular Diseases. Dr. Kamin is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography.
