Christie Clinic is pleased to welcome Edwin Okyne, MD to the Department of Internal Medicine/Nephrology at Christie Clinic in Champaign on Windsor, located at 1801 W Windsor Road in Champaign. Dr. Okyne cares for adult patients by diagnosing, treating and preventing illnesses and other health conditions, while specializing in the management of acute and chronic kidney problems and diseases.
Dr. Okyne completed a two-year Nephrology fellowship program at Stanford Health Center in Palo Alto, CA. Prior to his fellowship, he completed an Internal Medicine residency at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, IL. Dr. Okyne received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from the University of Ghana School of Medicine and Dentistry in Accra, Ghana. He is a member of the American Society of Nephrology and the American Board of Internal Medicine.
