Everybody has a “diet”, but when we hear the term, it typically has a negative connotation. “Diet” implies restriction and is commonly synonymous with depriving ourselves of foods we enjoy like pizza, soda, hamburgers, French fries, donuts, and even the chocolate. The reality of a healthy diet is about creating a balance and using moderation for the food and drinks we consume.
Let’s face it, we won’t find veggie trays at fast-food spots, and we shouldn’t be frequently relying on convenience stores and the drive-thru lane as our food source. You can allow yourself to consume those foods you enjoy, just not all at once or every day. Focus on incorporating veggies, water, and protein into your daily diet, and intaking fats and carbs in moderation. A healthy diet leads to a healthy, balanced lifestyle.

Our health coaches can share some of their favorite low-carb recipes, and we also have cookbooks available to purchase. These cookbooks were created by Janeva Eickhoff a self-taught cook and recipe developer who followed the Ideal Protein protocol to lose weight and transformed her relationship with food.
Oh, and you don’t have to give up all the chocolate. Ideal Protein has a variety of sweet and savory chocolate treats to help curb the cravings!
