Christie Clinic is excited to welcome Sarah Young, MD, FACOG back to the Department of OB/GYN at Christie Clinic in Champaign on University located at 101 W University Ave in downtown Champaign. Dr. Young has spent the last year in New Zealand working as an Obstetrician / Gynecologist and learning new ways to take care of patients. She provides gynecological services for women of all ages and specializes in heavy menstrual bleeding, fibroids, cervical dysplasia, contraception, office-based procedures and robotic surgery.
Dr. Young graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where she earned her Bachelor of Science in biology. She went on to attend medical school at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Carbondale & Springfield, IL and completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, IN.
