Christie Clinic is pleased to announce that Dr. Robert Cusick, department of orthopedics and sports medicine, recently performed the first robot-assisted total knee replacement in the Champaign-Urbana area. A technology Dr. Cusick has used in his previous practice, he is very excited to help bring this technology to the patients in east Central Illinois. “Robot assistance helps personalize each knee surgery to that particular patient’s knee anatomy, and assists with the precision of knee replacement surgery.” Dr. Cusick welcomes new patients, and Christie Clinic accepts most major insurances, including Health Alliance.
