Since I was in kindergarten, I always wanted to be a doctor. When I was nine years old I suffered severe facial injuries from a dog bite. In the Philippines where I grew up, there weren’t many plastic surgeons at that time, but there was one who came home every year from the U.S. to do charity work. He helped me. From then on, I knew I wanted to help others. My mother and grandmother encouraged me to do well in school and instilled in me that a good education is a primary key to success in life.
I enjoy reading, writing, running and traveling with my husband.

I want parents of my patients to know that I listen to their concerns, and I care for their children. We are on a journey together from childhood to adulthood, and I am their guide and resource when it comes to their health and well-being.
