I was raised by a minister and a mechanical engineer, so helping others has been my lifelong goal and my love of science was the best path forward.

I enjoy spending time with my spouse and three girls, especially birdwatching. I had alternate career ambitions for screenwriting at another time in my life, so I also enjoy film from a wide variety of genres.
