Why I chose healthcare

I was always interested in biology growing up. After spending time in college doing research in the lab, working with the local public health department, and volunteering with physicians I felt medicine was the best fit for me. I am excited by the sciences, enjoy the practical application, and most importantly love working with people. Putting it all together led me to a career in medicine!
