In the Department of Gastroenterology, Dr. Yarbrough specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal and liver disorders.
In addition to being fascinated by all the different clinical disease states and treatment modalities in this specialty, I was introduced to gastroenterology at an early age as I dealt with gastrointestinal issues throughout my childhood and early adult years. I also have a family history of pancreatic cancer.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, running, cycling, listening to live music and watching football.

I am fascinated with the human body and how it functions. As a physician, I am blessed with the opportunity to use knowledge of science and technology to diagnose, treat, and prevent illnesses, and to make a difference in the lives of my patients. Building meaningful relationships with my patients and their loved ones is a significant aspect of my career. As a physician, I will not only provide medical expertise but also emotional support and guidance during challenging times. The trust and bond formed between my patients and I is deeply humbling and rewarding.
